Beirut’s The Rip Tide 2011 UK Optimal Media pressing on clear vinyl sounded pretty good but the dynamic is not as impressive as the 2014 EU No No No or the 2019 EU Gallipoli.
It is a pretty quiet pressing too but a brighter sound than aforementioned albums. I noticed some unnatural clipping in the trebles and they do sound somewhat harder…
I had the US pressing on black vinyl before this but I couldn’t detect any big differences. I keep this clear vinyl edition because it is slightly quieter.
