I like

  • Decent SQ

I donʼt like

  • Guitars & strings are clear sounding but the drum & bass are woolly
  • Two copies both very noisy

  1. Dead Oceans is a label you love to hate — especially if you like listening to indie artists like Phoebe Bridgers.

Most of Dead Oceans’ vinyl, just like its sister labels such as Jagjaguwar and Secretly Canadian are — owned by Secretly Group and pressed by Independent Record Pressing which they are a big share holder.

Needless to say, they all share the same shoddy SQ and noisy. Stranger In The Alps sounded just like one of many of these but not the worst I have heard.
