  1. I usually avoid buying any records on Fat Possum Records. Their motto ‘We’re Trying Our Best” is a joke, not only it is just NOT good enough, their records sounded dreadful!

I recently decided to give Rubber Factory 2016 US reissue a go and I am glad that I did. Although the experience wasn’t all smooth and easy, my first copy of this MRP pressing was really noisy but my second copy is pretty quiet.

Considering that this album was recorded in an abandoned rubber factory, I was surprised how good this lo-fi records sound — it’s quite terrific!
