  1. I have been super curious about how this US Vinyl Me, Please reissue sound since I learnt about it when it was released in 2018.

I was really hoping that this half-speed remastered by Bazza, sound better than my 2008 US ORG reissue.

The 45 rpm pressing indeed sounded excellent, it actually sounded slightly better that the Panda Bear’s 2017 Person Pitch US Vinyl Me, Please reissue, also on 45 rpm.

When I put this in comparison with the 2008 US ORG reissue., it was very clear to me that the QRP pressing is superior. The ORG pressing clearly does bass better, have better depth, and the mastering sounded more analogue like. While this VMP reissue has very admirable dynamics, its mastering sounded slightly loud by comparison…

If you have only heard this album on the crappy 2013 EU Red Vinyl Reissue on 4AD, I urge you to ditch that immediately and get this Vinyl Me, Please reissue. Highly recommended regardless…
