  1. Vinyl Me, Please is an interesting concept but probably more suited to US residents where you don’t have to pay postage fees. My biggest problem with Vinyl Me, Please is that most of their records were pressed in coloured vinyl, I prefer black.

    However, I have heard that some of their reissues sound astonishing, especially the 45 rpm pressings. So I have been curious and I bought three of them to check it out when I saw them in my local record shop just recently.

    This Panda Bear’s Person Pitch Vinyl Me, Please reissue was half-speed remastered by Matt Colton. The pressing is very quiet and the SQ is indeed excellent — crisp and clear with abundance of details but not phenomenal like some of the 45 rpm pressings I have come to expect…
