  1. Future Islands’ third studio album — On The Water is by far the best sounding record of all of their I have heard. The sound is clear, dynamic and wide open. The bass is tight and punchy. It put rest of their albums to shame including the later two on 4AD — the 2014 UK/EU/US Singles and 2017 EU The Far Field.

    Paul Gold‘s mastering sounds amazing and far superior to a lot of those on Dead Oceans, Secretly Canadian, Jagjaguwar and some of the Sub Pop releases. The RTI pressing is also excellent.
