  1. Sascha Ring a.k.a Apparat teamed up with Modeselektor members Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, they become Moderat.

All three Moderat albums I have are beautifully produced and they sounded sensational!

The production of Moderat III is the best of all, it is more polished while Moderat I is slightly less impressive with its dynamic range but sounded a lot more raw and organic. Moderat II is closer to Moderat III but still retained some of the organic feel.

I was hoping that this 2xLP cuts would gain some improvement in dynamics but this standard version and the 2xLP Deluxe Edition doesn’t sound that different. Regardless, the SQ is indeed breathtaking!
