  1. The SQ of Future Islands’ second album — In Evening Air ‎is quite disappointing. Although like their album On The Water, it was also released on Thrill Jockey and cut by Paul Gold, the sound is very compressed, dull and muddy. It is also quite noisy.

I first bought this Translucent Orange Limited Edition, I was not happy with the sound and tried the standard black edition. I am surprised to find the Translucent Orange Limited Edition actually sounded better than the standard black edition! However, there are both inferior in comparison to the 2011 US On The Water.
