  1. Blood Orange’s first and second albums on vinyl — 2013 EU Costal Grooves reissue and 2013 Cupid Deluxe — have astoundingly good SQ. There were both cut by Matt Colton and pressed by Optimal Media. A super quiet pressing aside, expect jaw-dropping clarity, transparency, ultra wide soundstage and super tight bass punch! It is all so impressive and what a top notch sleek production! The dynamics of Cupid Deluxe is slightly better being spread over two LPs but they are so very close.

    It made an easy choice for the buyers as it was the same release for USA, Canada and Europe. Try to avoid the 2014 reissue though, I would think twice before getting that as it was pressed by Rainbo Records — yiks…
