  1. All Young Fathers’ records were cut by Simon Davey at The Exchange except the 2015 White Men Are Black Men Too was by Beau Thomas. However, the sound quality differs greatly on each album with their two EPs — Tape One and Tape Two from the 2013 US Anticon releases sounded the best.

    I am pleased to find the SQ of Cocoa Sugar is now back to the level of their two EPs with more polished production and wonderful dynamics. It sounded slick but still retained the gritty distorted bass and rawness. Moving to Ninja Tunes certainly seemed like a great idea…
